Saturday

Saturday (the day before the wedding) was the most stressful day of all for me. We had so much to do before the Welcome Dinner including the rehearsal. I didn't get any pictures except this one with Casey. She's my Matron of Honor and she made this sweet little tissue bouquet for me to practice walking down the aisle with. My Daddio wore his sunglasses to walk me down as practice and I had no idea why. Later it hit me...he was feeling emotional and didn't want anyone to see!



Thankfully, later in the day we all had a small chance to relax and enjoy the sunshine. We met at the pool at the Shoal's Club and some of us headed out to the beach from there. My mom, grandma and Great Aunt Alice also chilled on the deck by rocking in the chairs while looking at the ocean. They look so peaceful.





One of my bridesmaids and best friends from London, Desiree came over for the wedding. She and Paul (Kingsley's Best Man) and I spent a really nice time together on the beach just chatting and enjoying the sound of the waves. I haven't seen them for a while so it was salve to the soul to just relax and talk and listen to what's up in their lives.







Saturday I also got to hang with Adrian, one of my other bridesmaids. She brought her darling son Henry along and he let me hold him. He's not afraid of strangers and I never heard him cry once during the entire weekend. What a sweetheart! I just love being around Ace (her nickname). She is such a positive influence and very full of happiness and life.



Des, my South African soul sister just had to go for a swim. She braved the waves and threw all caution to the wind and went for it. I was too chicken because the water was a little chilly.
