Friends and Family

I am really looking forward to seeing my family and my friends. My cousins will be visiting Bald Head Island this weekend as well as both sets of aunts and uncles. Some of my friends from high school (way back in the days of PHS) will be there to share my special weekend as well as college. It is funny how people grow and lives change and now many of my friends have begun their own lives and have children. How exciting!

I also cannot wait to spend time with my grandmother. She is one of my biggest fans and reads my blog every day. Even Dannen, my bro will be there with his friends Jason and Tanya to help me celebrate. I am looking forward to enjoying warmth, sunshine, good food and stepping away from this stressful job.

The news these days is not positive. It really brings me down to have to report on distruction due to finacial hardships. So many people are struggling and I would like to be away from that for a little while. Thank goodness I have a vacay on the horizon.
